Do you pursue venues in Illinois? Chicago, perhaps? How about campus venues like College of DuPage or Dominican University. Domiinican has a small auditorium, I estimate about 700 seats. Here in my town, we have the Metropolis Performing Arts Center, a small theatre of about 300 seats. The Metropoiis specializes in live performances by singers and musicians, such as the Four Freshmen; also, Second City troups out of Chicago, as well as stage plays. Its an intimate room and might lend itself well to the venues you seem to be performing in. By the way, the "town" I refer to is Arlington Heights, Illinois, a NW suburb of Chicago.
